With proper networking, I think it’s important that you’re mindful of what we call the digital divide, especially online. There’s no replacement for a good old fashioned smile and a handshake, and that”s why I encourage everyone that”s within the sound of my voice to go in person to live events. There’s live events in your industry in your area where you live. It”s just a question of funding them and attending them, there”s no replacement for walking up to someone, shaking their hand, and saying hi, my name is Omar and I’m an internet marketer, what do you do? The cool thing about doing it that way and doing it like that and building a relationship like that is that you’re breaking the digital divide. When somebody can see you, when somebody can interact with you, they can see your face—there”s a lot lost in text when you’re just typing through a chat box. People can’t see your facial expression, people can’t see the sincerity in your voice. This is what we call the digital divide.
