It’s not some mysterious or scary thing like that cloak in that weird spooky looking invisible person in the cloak would imply, affiliate cloaking is something that is actually a very powerful tactic that you can use in your marketing. It’s often misused. We’re going to talk a little bit about what is a cloak, what exactly is a link, what’s a URL, what’s an affiliate link. There are very distinct differences between the different things that I just mentioned and some of us don’t fully understand them. Thereby, we don’t properly create our affiliate cloaks and links and redirects and things like that.
My goal here with this video is to kind of just simplify it for you, explain to you what’s there, what it is, how it works, so that then you can have a better understanding and so that you can improve the way that you do your affiliate promotions. Make no mistake about it, it’s something that you should be doing.
